What is your machinery worth?
Send us the list. We come back privately, in writing, with what we believe it is worth on the timeline you actually have, and we tell you which standard of value we used.
Why we do not publish a figure
A published figure is wrong by the time it is read. Values move with demand in the industry that uses the machine, with the cost of new equipment, with freight rates, and with how many identical machines came out of other closures that quarter. A number that ignores those things is not a valuation, it is a guess with a decimal point.
So we do it the other way round. You tell us what you have, we tell you what we think it is worth, and we show our working. If we would buy it outright, we say so and we say what we would pay.
What you get back
- A written valuation, from a person, not an automated estimate.
- The standard of value we used, and why that one fits your situation.
- What we would pay outright, where we would buy it.
- What removing it would involve, in plain words.
- An honest answer if another route beats us for what you have.
What makes a valuation accurate
The list. 8 fields per machine turn a spreadsheet into something a buyer can price: make, model, year, serial, quantity, condition, whether it is under power, and what tooling goes with it. Add photographs and most of the guesswork disappears.
Half a list this week is worth more than a complete one next month. Send it rough and we will tell you what needs filling in.
Before you fill anything in
If the machinery is still connected, leave it connected. A machine a buyer can watch run is worth materially more than the same machine on a pallet with its cables cut, and it is the one thing you cannot get back once it is done.

The 3 numbers that decide value
Fair market value, orderly liquidation value and forced liquidation value are 3 answers to the same question. The gap between them is mostly time.

Cannibalised parts, lost tooling, cut cables and the missing nameplate. Most of them are free to avoid, if you know about them first.
