What we do with what you send us
Short, because there is not much to say. This site collects what you type into a form, sends it to our sales desk, and does nothing else with it.
What a form collects
Whatever you type in: your name, your company, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and the description of your machinery or your question. Nothing is collected that you did not type, apart from the page the form sat on and the country the request came from, which are attached so we know where the message came from.
Who receives it
One address: sales@americanplantandequipment.com. There is no copy to anybody else, no marketing platform, no advertising network and no data broker. We do not sell or share what you send.
What we use it for
Answering you. If you asked for a valuation we use the detail to prepare one. If you asked a question we use it to answer the question. We do not add you to a mailing list because of a form, and there is no newsletter on this site to add you to.
Confidentiality
Equipment lists and closure details are treated as confidential by default. We do not publish your site name, your address or your list, and we can put a mutual non-disclosure agreement in place before a detailed list changes hands.
How it gets to us
The form posts over an encrypted connection to a small service that formats the message and emails it to the sales desk. That service keeps a record of the submission so that a lost message can be found again. It is not used for anything else.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. The spam protection widget on each form is provided by Cloudflare and is there to tell a person from an automated script. It is not used to profile you or to follow you between sites.
How long we keep it
Emails to the sales desk are kept as business correspondence, the way any enquiry is. The submission record behind the form is kept for operational purposes and is not used for marketing.
Having it removed
Email sales@americanplantandequipment.com or call (864) 574-0404 and ask. Tell us the address you used and we will remove what we hold and confirm that we have.
