One form, and a person reads it
Start a consignment request
Tell us what you have. We come back and say whether we can sell it, what kind of buyer we would be selling it to, and what the agreement would look like.
- A person reads it
- Nothing is published or shared
- Asking commits you to nothing
Tell us what you have
Half a list this week is worth more than a complete one next month. Send it rough and we will tell you what needs filling in.
Before you send it
What to expect from us
What the agreement covers
All 8 of these are agreed in writing before the machine ships.
- The commission, and the share you are paid
- When you are paid after the machine sells
- The storage arrangement while it is with us
- The minimum period the machine stays with us
- What happens if it does not sell
- Who pays inbound freight and rigging
- How the machine is insured while it is in our care
- What preparation and cleaning we do at our end
What we will not do
We do not publish figures for machines, on this site or anywhere else, and we do not guarantee a price. A machine is worth what a buyer pays for it, and a number written before that moment is an estimate. What we will do is be straight with you before you spend anything on freight.
We also do not ask you to name a price you want. Any minimum belongs in the written agreement, discussed with a person, not typed into a form.
Before you fill anything in
If the machinery is still connected, leave it connected. A machine a buyer can watch run sells for more than the same machine on a pallet with its cables cut, and it is the one thing you cannot get back once it is done.
